Suspended Metal Canopy for Delta Magic

Parasol Awnings recently completed a suspended metal canopy installation for Delta Magic’s Hunt Education Center in downtown Helena, AR. Installed over the building’s double entryway doors, this custom canopy provides durable weather protection while complementing the clean, classic facade of the facility.

As a multi-functional community space that hosts receptions, meetings, and events, the Hunt Education Center benefits from a covered entry that improves visitor comfort and enhances the overall exterior presentation of the building.

Design & Function

The suspended canopy was designed to provide reliable weather protection for visitors entering the Hunt Education Center, while maintaining a streamlined appearance appropriate for a downtown community facility. The flat pan metal decking and integrated drainage system manage rainwater efficiently, keeping the entry doors clear during inclement weather.

Suspended hangers allow the canopy to remain visually light while still delivering the strength and durability required for a high-traffic commercial entrance.

Delta Magic is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Helena, Arkansas, dedicated to celebrating and strengthening the Arkansas Delta. Through collaborative initiatives and community-focused programming, Delta Magic works to build local capacity, foster pride, and highlight the region’s unique character.
